Karachi:    K-Electric Chairman Ikram Sehgal has said that K-Electric accepts the responsibility of the incident happened in Karachi however this is not just the fault of K-Electric, illegal Kunda system and cable operators are also responsible.

Ikram Sehgal has said that why there is no monitoring on Cable connections. It should be ensured that internet cables are not connected to the power poles as this is totally illegal.
K-electric Chairman said that during rain the staff of K-electric remained on duty for 72 hours continuously, it should also be appreciated, we are responsible only for our mistakes and we will rectify them soon.
He said that the problem of garbage of Karachi is still not resolved, no drainage was made for flood situation in Karachi, the garbage condition is in front of everyone and we have given Rs 20 million for the cleanup campaign.
K-Electric Chairman Ikram Sehgal said that keep the city clean campaign is the responsibility of everyone including Chief Minister of Sindh, Ali Zaidi initiative in the emergency situation is commendable. I applaud the provincial government efforts for cleanliness, he added.
