Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has welcomed UN security Council (UNSC) meeting on Kashmir issue saying it was committed in UN resolutions to grant right to self-determination to Kashmiris.
He said this in his twitter while reacting to UNSC meeting on Kashmir Saturday.
He held for the first time in fifty years Kashmir issue was raised on the largest ever forum of the world while it was determined in the UNSC resolutions to give right to self determination to Kashmiris. The recent UNSC meeting is reminder of UN resolutions.
He remarked it is responsibility of UN to redress the grievances of people of Kashmir. UNSC should ensure resolution of Kashmir issue , he added.
