MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK government was taking measures for uplifting life of common man.
Official sources told here on Wednesday that under local government project setting up of 90 solar street lights in Kotli city was underway. Under this project 473 street lights would be set up in ten districts of the State.
Sources said that deputy director local government Babar Minhas along with administrator Sardar Zahid and others visited Kotli city. He inspected the progress and quality of the ongoing work of setting up of solar street lights. On this occasion administrator MC told him that necessary measures were afoot for beautification of the city. The containers of MC for solid waste material were also examined.
Minhas appealed the citizens for safety of solar street lights which he said had been set up for people’s comfortable movement at night. He directed the contractor and other staffers to ensure completion of work of street lights by June 10.
