RAWALPINDI : (Parliament Times) Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf’s foundation (PTI) was laid down by Prime Minister Imran Khan an about 23 years ago to set new political praactices and trends in political history of Pakistan by challenging year-long incestral politics of families, cronies, and status quo in Pakistan, said speakers while speaking at Celebrations of 23rd Foundation Day of PTI by Insaaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) at District Bar Rawalpindi today.
Mr Arif Abbasi, Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Asif Mehmood Chairman Parks and Horticulture Authority(PHA), Additional Advocate General and President ILF Rwp Div Shaukat Rauf Siddiqui Advocate, Senior Vice President ILF Div Zahid Anwer adv, Gen Secretary ILF Rwp Div Naeemul Hassan adv, District President Sajjad Akhtar Adv, Assistant Attorney General (AAG) Malik Tahir adv, AAG Qaiser Abbas Shah, AAG Malik Ahtesham Saleem adv, AAG Ch Shamas Tabraiz, Dilpazeer Butt, Brst Danish, Zufran Abbas, Touqeer Ahmed Satti, Malik Aamir Saleem Waqsr Ilyas, Faisal Chohan, Ms Raila Sabuhi ,Malik Khalid Mazhar Ex MPA, Farooq Awan advocates and many other lawyers of ILF attended the foundation day celebration.
Abbasi further said that Aamir Kayani and many other were the pioneers member and leaders of PTI but when fingers were pointed upon them, their relations and services within party didn’t deter action against them.
We being the followers of PTI and Imran Khan had to set the example and bring change very stereotype political approaches. Imran was the last hope against corrupt n polluted system in the country, he added.
Speaking at the occasion, Asif Mehmood, Chairman PHA said that Imran was accustomed to take difficult decisions not popular decisions and these difficult decisions proved to be the right decision. Mehmood said though the situation was difficult, he knew how to play till last ball n turn situation in his and country favour. We may doubt every body but the personality of Imran khan was beyond doubts as it was his 22-year-long effort that today PTI was in power, he added .
A Shuakat Rauf Siddiqui, Sajjad Akhtar Malik, Zahid Anwar advocates also spoke to occasion.
The Guests, senior lawyers and members of ILF cut the celebration cake to commemorate the foundation day of the party. At this moment prayer for the security, progress, prosperity of the country was attended by participants of the event.
