BY SAWERA ZAHIR, RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) received 558 complaints at Public Facilitation Center during February and addressed nearly 428.
According to RCB official, 206 electric complaints were received of which 163 were resolved immediately. Out of 155 water supply complaints 108 were addressed by the water section. Similarly, 157 out of 197 sanitation complaints received during the month were responded.
The official informed that all efforts are being made to address complaints of the residents received through public facilitation center and facilitated the citizens.
He said, the Water Recovery Branch of RCB is also taking action against water theft in various areas of cantonment. The RCB team conducted raids in Saddar, Bank Road, Tench Bhatta, Dhoke Syedan, Peshawar Road, Range Road, and other areas and recovered 31 million liters of water.
The RCB is likewise conducting operation against encroachments in various parts of city.
