ISLAMABAD : (Parliament Times) The AJK government hosted a consultative meeting of all political parties of the state in Kashmir House Islamabad on Thursday.
The meeting reviewed in details the latest situation obtaining in Occupied Kashmir and the situation arising out of naked aggression of India against Pakistan. The meeting decided that all the political forces of the State would evolve consensus to aggressively highlight Kashmir issue over the globe and expose Indian brutalities against Kashmiris at international level.
The leaders that attended the meeting include PML-N President and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, MC President Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, former AJK Premier Ch. Abdul Majeed, President PPP Ch. Latif Akbar, Speaker AJK LA Shah Ghulam Qadir, JI parliamentary leader Abdur Rashid Turabi, parliamentary leader of PTI Abdul Majid Khan, head of liberation league Justice Retd. Abdul Majeed Malik, Amir JI Dr. Khalid Mehmood, parliamentary leader of JKPP Sardar Hassan Ibrahim Khan, President JK peoples party Sheikh Fazal Karim, Moulana Imtiaz Siddiqui, President Jamiat Ulema-e-Jammu and Kashmir and other leaders.
All the political parties and leaders reiterated their resolve that on Kashmir liberation struggle they are completely united and on one page and would play their role until the goal of liberation was achieved. The meeting noted the extremist and aggressive designs of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi due to which there were violence on the basis of religion and race in India and his steps for complete domination of Hinduism to win the upcoming election in India. The meeting termed it all dangerous for the peace of the region. It demanded international community to take serious notice of warmongering attitude of Modi. The meeting appreciated the welcoming gestures and steps for peace of Pakistan and assured its full support for the cause.
The political leadership of AJK expressed satisfaction over the befitting response of Pakistani armed forces at the aggression and indiscriminate shelling of Indian forces from across the LoC on civil population. The meeting renewed the pledge that AJK would spare no effort for integrity and stability of Pakistan and for the defense of motherland.
