BARCELONA: The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan while taking notice of public protest in Grace Valley called deputy commissioner Neelum from Barcelona and directed for assistance to snow-affected people on war footing.
He asked the deputy commissioner to let him know through email that he had followed the Premier’s directions. He further directed the DC to contact armed forces working in the Valley and transfer the patients to Muzaffarabad through their helicopter service.
Mr. Haider urged the administration to ensure that the ground contacts of Grace Valley, Lipa Valley and other snow-affected regions have been restored.
It may be mentioned that snow-affected people of Grace Valley had protested on Friday which drew the Prime Minister’s attention to their plights.
