Rawalpindi: Dozens of daily wages employees of Sui Northern Rawalpindi are not being paid their salaries since the last several months .
According to media reports, serious financial irregularities have been found in the matter of payment of salaries to daily and contract employees of Sui-Northern Rawalpindi.
Sources said that salaries were paid less to daily wages and contract employees against the amount which is shown to have been received by employees on voucher with their signatures.
The matter of payment of salaries to daily wages and contract employees of Sui Northern Rawalpindi has been made complicated because General Manager of SNGPL Rawalpindi region Muhammad Zahoor has got him transferred to Islamabad without resolving the issue of payment of salaries.
On the other hand, employees have decided to stage a demonstration against the non-payment of their salaries.
They have demanded of federal minister for petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan to take action against former GM of region who was involved in this injustice and give him strict punishment after exposing his embezzlement.
