Rawalpindi: Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan has seized 181 Kg narcotics and 17.67 Tons Prohibited Chemical valuing Rs. 400.74 Million internationally, arrested 35 persons including 5 ladies involved in drug smuggling and impounded 5 vehicles during 31 counter-narcotics strikes throughout the country.
According to a statement issued here on Thursday the seized drugs comprised of 160.93 Kg Hashish, 7.85 Kg Opium, 6.075 Kg Heroin, 3.213 Kg Methamphetamine, 2.7 Kg Amphetamine, 2045x Xanax Tabs, 16886 Kg Sulfuric Acid, 650 Kg Hydrochloric Acid, 90 Kg Acetone, 44 Kg Toluene and 2800 Kg Suspected Chemical Powder.
“Most of the arrested accused were involved in drug supplying to students of educational institutions”, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the ANF Rawalpindi, recovered 1.5 Kg Heroin from personal possession of the accused identified as Dilbar Hussain resident of Faisalabad. He was arrested near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, Attock. In another operation, ANF Rawalpindi conducted a raid near Tehzeeb Bakers, G-9 Markaz, Islamabad and recovered 1.420 Kg Amphetamine from personal possession of the three accused namely Amjad Khan, Jahangir Khan and Habib Ullah all residents of Quetta. In third operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused identified as Muhammad Kamran resident of Attock and recovered 1.3 Kg Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested from Mithial Chowk Bus Stop, Pindi-Kohat Road, Attock. In fourth operation, ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a Honda Civic Car near Mandra Toll Plaza, GT Road, Rawalpindi and recovered 18 Kg Hashish and 3 Kg Opium from secret cavity of the car. Resultantly an accused namely Muhammad Ishaq resident of Mandi Bahaudin was arrested during the operation. In fifth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested Sami Ullah resident of Shangla at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 1.280 Kg Amphetamine which was concealed in his hand bag. He was boarding for Riyadh by Flight No. EY-232. In sixth operation, ANF Rawalpindi conducted a raid at Skyways Bus Stand, Faizabad, Rawalpindi and recovered 2.4 Kg Hashish from personal possession of the two arrested accused persons identified as Muhammad Saqib and Wajid Hussain both resident of Rawalpindi.
ANF Lahore conducted a raid at GTS Chowk near Rescue 1122 office, Faisalabad and recovered 500 grams Heroin from personal possession of the two lady accused namely Manzoran Bibi resident of Faisalabad and Samina Bibi resident of Nankana Sahib. In another operation, ANF Lahore arrested two ladies identified as Sonia and Ferdos residents of Lahore and recovered 120 grams Heroin and 110 grams Hashish from their possession. They were arrested near Allah Hoo Chowk, Johar Town, Lahore. In third operation, ANF Lahore intercepted UK bound parcel from a private courier office located at Sialkot and recovered 1.5 Kg Heroin, which was concealed in Balls. In fourth operation, ANF Lahore arrested Shabbir resident of Charsadda at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore and recovered 960 grams Methamphetamine concealed in his bag. He was boarding for Riyadh by Flight No. PK-725. In fifth operation, ANF Lahore arrested a lady accused namely Nasreen Bibi resident of Lahore and recovered 1.5 Kg Hashish from her personal possession. She was arrested near Main Bazar Willa Gujjar Singh, Lahore. In sixth operation, ANF Lahore conducted a raid at Landa Bazar near Haji Camp, Lahore and recovered 600 gram Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Shehraz Ali resident of Lahore. In seventh operation ANF Lahore arrested an accused identified as Shehbaz Ali resident of Lahore and recovered 500 grams Hashish from his possession. He was arrested near University of Central Punjab, Joher Town Lahore. In eighth operation, ANF Lahore arrested an accused namely Nadeem Shahzad resident of Faisalabad and recovered 600 gram Hashish from his possession. He was arrested near Government Post Graduate College, Samanabad, Faisalabad. In ninth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Honda Motorcycle near UBL Bank, Careem Block Chowk, Wahdat Road, Lahore and recovered 1.5 Kg Opium from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Muhammad Irshad resident of Lahore. In tenth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Toyota Hybrid Ellian car near Servaid Medical Pharmacy, Khokar Chowk, Johar Town, Lahore and recovered 1.5 Kg Opium from personal possession of the accused namely Sami Ullah resident of Lahore.
In an intelligence based operation, ANF Peshawar arrested a street peddler identified as Abdul Latif resident of Orakzai Agency and recovered 500 grams Hashish which was concealed in rechargeable lantern. He was arrested near Motorway Toll Plaza, Peshawar. In another operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Jamshed Khan resident of Peshawar at Peshawar international Airport and recovered 1.050 Kg Hashish from his bag. The arrested accused was boarding for Abu Dhabi by Flight No. PK-217. In third operation, ANF Peshawar conducted a raid at Zain Plaza, Dilazak Road, Peshawar and seized Large quantity of precursor chemicals used for manufacturing of Methamphetamine. The seized chemicals comprises 90 Kg Acetone, 44 Kg Toulene, 650 Kg HCL and 2800 Kg Suspected Chemical Powder. 6x Drums 1x Scale, Packing Machine, Mixer, Cylinder, Tub and Plastic Bags, which was used in manufacturing of ICE were also seized. Resultantly an accused namely Niamatullah resident of Peshawar was arrested during the operation. In fourth operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a Honda Civic car at Faqirabad No. 2 near Dilazk Road, Peshawar and recovered 1.2 Kg Heroin and 18 Kg Hashish which was kept in trunk of the said vehicle. Resultantly an accused identified as Aman Ullah resident of Lakki Marwat was arrested during the operation. In fifth operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Ameer Rehman resident of Malakand at Peshawar International Airport and recovered 1.255 Kg Heroin which was concealed in his bag. He was traveling to Doha by Flight No. QR-601. In sixth operation, ANF Peshawar conducted a raid near Tri Zone CNG, Ring Road, Peshawar and recovered 1.910 Kg Methamphetamine from personal possession of the two accused identified as Rehman Ullah resident of Nangarhar, Afghanistan and Rehman Gul Resident of Khyber Agency. In seventh operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Rahim Khan resident of Lower Dir at Peshawar International Airport and recovered 2024 Xanax Tabs (weighing 264 grams) which was concealed in 3x plastic bottles. He was boarding for Riyadh by Flight No. PK-755. In eighth operation, ANF Peshawar arrested a Doha bound passenger namely Ibrar Ahmed resident of Gujrat at Peshawar International Airport on suspicion of ingested narco filled capsules in his stomach, admitted in Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar for delivery of capsules. Further he delivered 47x Methamphetamine filled capsule (weighing 343 grams) and 223x Hashish filled capsules (weighing 1.7 Kg). In ninth operation, ANF Peshawar arrested a drug street peddler namely Syed Muhammad Sahir Ali Zaidi resident of Sahiwal and recovered 510 gram Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested near Faisal Movers Adda, GT Road, Peshawar.
ANF Karachi intercepted a Vitz Car at Sassi Toll Plaza, Karachi and recovered 100 Kg Hashish which was concealed in secret cavities of the vehicle. Resultantly an accused identified as Abdul Hanan resident of Quetta was arrested during the operation. In another operation, ANF Karachi conducted a raid against drug street paddlers near Government Degree College, Unit No. 11 Latifabad, Hayderabad and recovered 2 Kg Hashish from personal possession of the accused identified as Muhammad Umar Alias Mithoo resident of Hayderabad. In third operation, ANF Karachi arrested a drug street paddler identified as Imran Jatoi resident of Hayderabad and recovered 700 grams Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested near Send Bonovenchor School, Qasimabad, Hayderabad. In fourth operation, ANF Karachi conducted intelligence based raid near Railway Phatak, Brohi Mohalla, Shikarpur and recovered 11 Kg Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused identified as Wahid Bux Alias Wahado Brohi resident of Shikarpur. In fifth operation, ANF Karachi conducted an intelligence based raid at PICT, Karachi and intercepted a container, recovered 16886 Kg Sulfuric Acid from the said container. In sixth operation, ANF Karachi intercepted a Canada bound parcel from a private courier office located at DHA, Karachi and recovered 1.850 Kg Opium and 460 gram Hashish, which was concealed in Decoration Wall Frames.
All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are underway.
