RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) Jammu Kashmir Liberation Cell Rawalpindi in coordination with All Kashmir Forum held a seminar here on Tuesday.
Addressing the function Chairperson Standing Committee Mohtarma Sehrish Qamar underscored the need of a correct strategy and mechanism. She demanded ban on display of Indian movies n Pakistani cinemas and said Indian film industry is emitting negative propaganda against Pakistan and Kashmir.
Sehrish said Kashmir and Pakistan are part and parcel and tied in inseparable bonds.
She said Indian forces are committing atrocities and massive human rights abuses in India held Kashmir. She urged the youth to highlight these tyrannies of Indian forces through social media.
Sehrish affirmed that in line with founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision we shall achieve the goal of accession to Pakistan. She drew the attention of international community towards ruthless killings of Kashmiri youth by Indian forces and said they did not even spare PhD scholars of the State. Civilized nations should play their role of preventing India from committing these horrific atrocities in the held valley, she appealed.
Addressing to the seminar member Kashmir Council Abdul Khaliq Wasi underscored the need of establishing Kashmir chair in all the Universities of Pakistan and AJK to widen the research work on Kashmir. He extolled the efforts of Secretary Kashmir Liberation Cell for highlighting Kashmir dispute at home and abroad.
Secretary Kashmir Liberation Cell Mansoor Qadir Dar speaking on the occasion said that the way world is paying attention to Kashmir issue we also need to take up innovative policies on Kashmir. He said policy research forum is developing new thinking in this regard. He revealed that soon a seminar would be held on Kashmir in Islamic International University.
Addressing to the seminar Chairman Policy Wing Prof. Khan Muhammad appreciated the efforts of youth and said that despite resource constraints they managed an effective interactive session. There are many problems in the world now that needed to be resolved and Kashmir is on top of them, he remarked. We have got to take our voice to the power corridors of US, China, Russia, Britain and France, he maintained.
