BRUSSELS: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has arrived in Brussels, Monday morning to participate in the Kashmir – EU week 2018 being held from 5th to 8th of November. The Week is being organized by the Kashmir Council – EU and hosted by MEP Wajid Khan and MEP Sajjad Karim. Various events will be organized in this connection in the European Parliament both in Brussels as well as in Strasbourg. The main theme of the Week is ‘Living the Legacy of Partition: the Search for Lasting Peace’.
A series of meetings will take place at the European Parliament Brussels on 5th, 7th & 8th of November besides an exhibition of photographs of French photographer Cedric Gerbehaye at the Press Club Brussels Europe on 6th November. The exhibition will also be organized in the European Parliament Strasbourg from 13th of November.
On the 5th of November Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir will chair two sessions of the conference on the themes ‘Witness’ and ‘Conditions for Lasting Peace’. On 7th there will be a meeting to discuss the themes ‘Building a Consensus’ and “What the international Community Should Do” and on 8th there will be a workshop at the European Parliament on drafting report for the Parliament.
