Islamabad: A petition has been filed in apex court regarding to put the name of Asia Babi on the Exist Control List (ECL).
Hafiz Ethasim Ahmed has filed the petition in which Interior Ministry, FIA and government Punjab have been made party.
He viewed in the submitted application that foreign powers especially Europe was in favor of early release of Asia Babi from jail and after release she was likely to travel aboard, so her name should put on ECL. He also appealed that court should put the name of Asia Babi on ECL and also confiscate her passport.
