ZHOB: Municipal Committee Zhob unanimously passed its annual expenditure budget for fiscal year 2018-19. Total volume of the budget is forty five million rupees. The annual budget unanimously approved by the house amounting to Rs45 million.
The newly-elected Chairman MC Engineer Abdul Rehman Mandokhail presided over the budget session, while the session was attended by former chairman Abdul Saleem Mandokhail, vice chairman Haji Naseeb Nasar, Abdul Qayyum advocate, opposition leader Haji Noor Muhammad Safi and counselors in a large number.
Giving the features of the budget, Deputy Chairman Haji Naseeb Nasar said that Rs10 million have been allocated for machinery purchasing, Rs.10 million for construction of drains, Rs.10 million for PCC, Rs.10 million for construction of culverts on drains, Rs.1 million for sports, Rs.2 million for parking and the remaining for office and other extra expenditures have been earmarked.
Ex-chairman Abdul Saleem Mandokhail, Haji Naseeb Nasar, Abdul Qayyum advocate and Anwer Gul also spoke on the occasion. They said the members of the house would consider solving the masses issues and services delivery as top priority. They expressed hope that the newly approved budget would be as per aspirations and desires of the citizens and would herald an era of progress.
Meanwhile the opposition members unanimously elected Haji Noor Muhammad Safi as opposition leader in the house.
