Islamabad: Austrian ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Brigitta Blaha Tuesday held farewell meeting with foreign minister Shah Mahmood Quershi.
In meeting at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi praised her diplomatic services in Pakistan, saying Dr. Blaha worked for the betterment of Pak-Austria relations.
He said that during her diplomatic tenure in Pakistan both countries saw the economic, trade and diplomatic relations much better and people to people contact more strengthened.
Dr. Blaha thanked Qureshi and government and said Austria preferred better relations with Pakistan. She hoped that bilateral relations will be strengthened further with time.
Dr. Blaha said that during her tenure, she worked hard to improve bilateral trade relations and tried to bring in private investment to Pakistan.
The foreign Minister expressed his best wishes for Dr. Blaha.
