MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The Secretary AJK Cultural Academy Mansoor Qadir Dar has said regional languages and state’s culture are centuries old and they are our identity.
He was speaking during his visit to cultural academy office here on Friday. He said our culture and literature hold more significance and characteristics than any culture and literature of the world. He assured that government would take appropriate measures for safeguarding regional languages and culture. Later he went round to the different sections of cultural academy.
Dar was also given a briefing about the literary and cultural activities of the academy. Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the academy he advised the concerned officials to put in more efforts to improve its performance.
