MIRPUR [AJK],  (Parliament Times) : US-based acting Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (Yasin Malik faction] on Friday has appealed to all people including his party activists in AJK joining the Long March on May 11th on appeal of Joint Awami Action Committee to keep Protest and March peaceful in Support of their local demands including due cut in power tariff in AJK and completion of Rathuaa-Haryam Bridge in AJK.

“Let us march peacefully and make our voices heard. Unity and determination are key as we stand togethera for our rights through peaceful protest and Long March”, Muzaffar said in the appeal reaching and released to the media here on Friday.

The JKLF (Y) leader also appealed people to reject violence, remain calm, and stay vigilant against miscreants during the peaceful protest cum long march.

He strictly advised advised his party activists to immediately report about any suspicious activity to organizers. “Our collective voice can bring about change without harming others or property”, he added the message said.

Raja continued as saying “I strongly condemn the AJK government for allegedly harassing the local population and denyong their due rights.

The JKLF acting Chairman demanded immediate release of all arrested activists,
– Respect for the people’s fundamental right to peaceful protest
– An end to illegal detention of Awami Action Committee leaders
– A stop to raids on homes without arrest or search warrants, the press message said.

“We urge the AJK government to respect the people’s rights and allow peaceful protests. Violence and intimidation only fuel the movement, he observed.

“Together, let us make a difference through peaceful protest”, he concluded
