ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has ordered not to arrest former President Pervez Musharraf in any case on his return to Pakistan.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar took up for hearing matter of Pervez Musharraf return to home in National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) case on Tuesday.
The CJP directed counsel for Pervez Musharraf to file his reply till October 11 about Pervez Musharraf return to Pakistan.
The court also ordered that Pervez Musharraf be not arrested in any case before his appearance in the court in NRO case. He should be provided Rangers security on whichever airport he lands.

Akhtar Shah counsel for Pervez Musharraf told the court “ I have talked to Pervez Musharraf on September 27 and he has promised to return to Pakistan. Pervez Musharraf is suffering from serious natured disease and he is facing medical and security problems.
The defense counsel contended that his client was neither accused in the Lal Masjid case nor has he been indicted.

CJP rearked while addressing counsel for former president “ I have said to you that no one would arrest Pervez Musharraf. He should record his statement in high treason case at Special Court”.
CJP remarked “ it can not happen so that superior judiciary summons Pervez Musharraf and he does not come. “Musharraf must avoid any situation where he may have to return to Pakistan in a way which is not respectable . We will continue to issue his red warrants if he keeps on sitting outside the country.
CJP remarked if Pervez Musharraf is facing problems of back pain we will arrange his treatment here. I too am suffering from a painful backache. We have arrangements for the best treatment for Musharraf’s ailment here,” he said.
The court while granting protective bail to Pervez Musharraf adjourned the hearing of the case till October 11.
