Jamshoro: Jamshoro police has arrested five dacoits of inter-provincial gang.
On September 13 a passenger coach destined for Karachi from Shahdad Kot had been hijacked on Indus High Way. The dacoits travelling in the bus replaced the driver with their accomplice and had looted passengers mercilessly and severely tortured them. Following the incident police with the help of geo fencing had traced the dacoits. On September 30 in an encounter in the area of Begu Mir Gut had arrested five dacoits including the two injured.
SSP Jamshoro Bashir Ahmad Barohi has said that the arrested dacoits belong to Sindh and Balochistan and recovered hand grenade, arms and car from their possession.
Jamshoro police says that the arrested dacoits were involved in 12 incidents of dacoity and their criminal record is being checked.
