ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) The President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi called AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Monday and inquired about his health after the chopper incident at LoC. Dr. Alvi denounced the Indian forces firing on the chopper of the AJK Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif condemning the firing incident termed it as a coward act of Indian forces. The other leaders who called the AJK PM to denounce Indian firing incident included PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, Marryam Nawaz, Captain Safdar, Raja Zafarul Haque, Ayaz Sadiq, Barjis Tahir, PPP’s Syed Khurshid Shah, Rehman Malik, Qamaruz Zaman Kaira’ Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Rana Iqbal Khan, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan, Chaudhry Yasin, Syed Bazil Naqvi.
These national leaders termed the firing at AJK PM’s chopper a gross violation of international law. Prime Minister Haider expressed profound gratitude to these leaders for expressing concern at the firing incident.
