Islamabad: During the closing remarks of Youth Parliament Oath Taking Ceremony, Federal Secretary General Youth Parliament paid thanks to distinguished guests and congratulate new cabinet member with the award of appreciation for senior members. He also added: 2018 is the election year, role of youth in upcoming election is very important, we must pool in vote for our right but not based on favoritism, but it is more important to know about the credibility of candidate. Only 1000 or 2000 politicians can’t change the future of Pakistan until we provide them support. Mr. Qureshi said; Youth Parliament is launching two major projects in future, One being the Youth Internship program – through which different sector will be linked and student skills shall be polished. Internship program is a bridge between educational and industrial sector. Second one is Youth Policy; Unfortunately, we have Ministries but don’t have functional department. Youth Parliament will formalize the Youth Policy and handed over to the stakeholders of the Government, so that it can be implemented in a better way and provide support for their implementation. He also added the importance of tourist in Pakistan and ensure that the youth parliament will publish Safety precautions for tourists in couple of weeks. Mr. Qureshi also announce some discount for the members of Youth Parliament mainly; Rahat Bakers, Muzaffarabad, Pizza One, Secret Sky and La Montana Restaurant. He said for our new members we are going to publish progress report which explain what we gain and what is our expectation to get outcome.
