ISLAMABAD: No forced loadshedding is being observed in any part of the country, says spokesperson of Energy division.

The spokesperson further said that no forced loadsheddng is being observed anywhere in the country in the backdrop of power production and prevailing situation of electricity demand and supply.
Loadshedding is zero rated on 61 percent feeders running on 10 percent losses. The demand of electricity stands at 18432 megawatt as against supply of electricity of 15400 megawatts. Consequently electricity shortfall has reached 3032 megawatt. This power shortfall has been caused due to power plants testing and tripping, Chashma-3 power plant has also been linked to national grid, the spokesperson added.
