ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the successful conduct of PSL in Karachi is an evidence of it becoming a city of lights again.
In a statement on Sunday, she said the enthusiasm of people of Karachi is worth seeing as the city has come out of the reign of fear and is back on its lively galore.
She said due to PML-N government’s efforts the country has become a cradle of peace.
The Information Minister said the people and security forces have rendered matchless sacrifices for the restoration of peace in the country.
Welcoming the foreign as well as national players, Marriyum Aurangzeb said their arrival has not only revived sports activities in Pakistan but also added to the zest and fervor of our people.
She prayed for lasting peace in the country and successful conclusion of the mega cricketing event.
