ISLAMABAD: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has granted exemption from attendance to PTI chief Imran Khan in three cases including PTV attack case.

4 cases including attack on PTV which were registered during Islamabad Dharna in 2014 came up for hearing before Anti Terrorism courts Islamabad Monday.
ATC led by Judge Kausar Abbas took up three cases including PTV and parliament attacks for hearing.
Imran Khan was not present in the court when the hearing started. Interval was observed till 10 a.m After the interval Imran Khan and his counsel Babar Awan appeared in the court.

The court accepted PTI chairman plea seeking exemption from next hearing and adjourned the hearing of the case till March, 13.

On the other hand during the course of hearing of attack on SSP Asmat Ullah Junejo case, ATC presided over by Judge Shahrukh Arjumand issued notice to prosecution on the petitions filed by Imran Khan seeking his exemption from attendance and acquittal in the case.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till March 13.
