LAHORE: Petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking public hanging of Imran, killer of minor girl Zainab in Kasur.
The petition has been filed by advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry taking the plea that there is no need of making any amendment in law for publically hanging Imran,. Punjab government can execute Imran publicly under section 22. The culprit be hanged at the same venue from where body of Zainab was found, he prayed.
He requested the court to issue orders to Punjab government to implement section 22.
