Lahore : A high level joint delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and United
Business Group (UBG) will meet Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Feb 01 (today) at Prime Minister secretariat.
Talking to newsmen here Wednesday Chairman United Business Group (UBG) and Vice President SAARC Chamber Iftikhar Ali Malik said that
a high level delegation comprising newly elected FPCCI President Ghazandar Bilour SVP Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir, former federation Presidents
Zubair Tufail, Mian Muhammad Adress, Malik Zubair, Chairman Federation Coordination and Diplomatic Committee Malik Sohail Hussain and himself will
discuss the problems confronting the business community across the country. He said that UBG is grateful to Prime Minister for taking elected trade
body into confidence on all important economic and trade policies.
He said that “We will give concrete input based on ground realities and viable prudent economic proposals to Prime Minister to
accelerate the pace of economic activities and boost the export and early solution to their problems of business community besides immediate payment
of refund ”.He said that Prime Minister will also be requested to announce amnesty scheme to bring billions of rupees into tax net. He said
that entire business community is overburdened with heavy taxation slabs and can not compete international market compared to other countries
which are offering an excellent package of incentives to their exporters.
