LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday took notice of the incident of students’ brawl in University of the Punjab Lahore. He ordered to hold investigations and sought a report from CCPO Lahore.
He said that legal action should be initiated against the persons responsible for this clash as all are equal before the law and nobody is allowed to take law into own hands.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of Ch. Qamar-us-Zaman, former Additional IG Police and Ustaad Nazar Hussain, renowned music composer.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
