Lahore: Jamaat ud Dawa’s leadership has announced to knock courts’ doors and pledged fight a legal war if the Government decides to take custody of ambulances run by JuD and its Falah e Insaniat Foundation (FIF), said the statement issued by Yahya Mujahid, spokesman for JuD.

Reacting to the reports about government’s plans to take control of FIF ambulances, he said, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was detained to please India in past and now it is being talked to close down the organization’s relief and charity projects on which millions of poor have dependence.

In his statement, he said, “there are clear verdicts of High Court and Supreme Court of no evidence to prove accusations against JuD and its chief. Courts have also given permission JuD to continue with their preaching, relief and welfare activities freely. But despite this, government often takes such steps only to please India. Earlier, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was detained to please India last year and after court’s orders round a month ago, he has been released by High Court order.

Accusing government of becoming become just a toy in the hands of Modi Government, he said that India in the time of its choosing puts pressure on Pakistani rulers who immediately start acting on the Indian dictates sometimes by detentions and sometimes by uprooting ambulance booth. It is beyond imagination what kind of radical measures government would take to silence the voices of Kashmir to woo Modi and to prove loyalty to him, added the spokesman.

He further said, “Last year, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was detained by the government for his “crime” of declaring 2017 for Kashmiris and now again the similar announcement about 2018 and to launch countrywide campaign for this purpose, has irritated India and its faithful Pakistani Government. That seems to be the reason of their planning to take the reprehensible steps such as controlling of ambulances and else,” asserted Mr Yahya Mujahid.
