Quetta: Interior minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that his party has never struck any NRO what Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had done, however they will cross the next milestone after completion on parliament tenure.
While talking to media men after inauguration of first executive passport office in Quetta Minister said political stability is important just like oxygen for country’s progress.
Tahir Ul Qadri and opposition should form APC of national unity instead of Dharna APC as country needs unity instead of chaos.
He said in 2013, national highways of Balochistan and Karachi were considered as no go areas due to terrorism but after four years no one hears any voice about kidnapping for ransom and people travel from Gwadar to Karachi without any fear.
He said our neighboring rival India wanted to fail our China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project by using Afghan soil while spy Kulbhushan Jadhav confessed that India is spending billions of dollars to fail this project.
Minister further added that our competition with India is in economy saying when our economy gets stronger then no one can dare to cast an evil eye on Pakistan.
Interior Minister also visited different departments of executive passport office and said Rs 18 millions had been spent on construction of passport office.
Interior minister said that Quetta Executive Passport Office is the first passport office of Balochistan furnished with state of the art machinery and it has been completed within record four months.
He said 80 people will be provided service at a time in this passport office and 20 to 25 minutes would be required for preparation of one passport while there are separate spaces for males and females so that no difficulty is faced by them.
