Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has decided to appoint Parliamentary Secretary Rana Afzaal as state minister for Finance.
According to media reports, PM Abbasi after consultation wiith former PM Nawaz Sharif decided to appoint Rana Afzaal as state minister for Finance in place of Ex Finance Minister Ishaq Dar who was unwell for the last couple of weeks.
Rana Afzaal will take oath soon as State Minister for Finance after which formal notification of his appointment would be issued.
It is vital to mention here that before this Governor State Bank Tariq Bajwa and Mufti Ismail and other were running the affairs of finance ministry.
