Islamabad: Opposition parties staged protest and walk out from the National Assembly on third day against not tabling Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) reforms bill in the parliament by the government.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentary leader Syed Naveed Qamar has said that opposition will continue to stage protest and walk out unless government presents FATA reforms bill in parliament adding government has insulted parliament by excluding FATA reforms bill from agenda. .
When government and all opposition are agreed on FATA reforms bill then Why government is excluding the bill from agenda, he added.
He said PPP stands with the joint decision of opposition as FATA reforms are the rights of people of tribal areas adding government should not force us to stage protest. Government is not learning any lesson from the past and the reforms are being hindered to please some elements, he added.
Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said that non-presentation of FATA bill is adding to difficulties of government.
There is a hue and cry all around the world that banned outfit Daesh is setting its feet in Afghanistan and laying its network in Pakistan, he remarked. .
He said government is not presenting the bill in the national assembly due to two parties and is persistently ignoring FATA people.
