ISLAMABAD : Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said assemblies can be dissolved some months earlier for our political mileage.
“ Keeping in view the situation assemblies can be dissolved a few months earlier for political advantage. However no such decision has been taken so far”, he said this in an interview with a private TV channel here.
He went on to say that PPP and PTI have no courage to dissolve Sindh and KP governments.
Citing to dance by Asif Ali Zardari during 5oth foundation day celebrations of PPP, Khawaja Asif said that Asif Ali Zardari had ruined PPP and he was celebrating what doom PPP has met at his hands. He should have offered Fateha instead of celebrating.
He underlined that PPP and PTI would not tender resignations from Sindh and KP. If they resign from assemblies then it would be a disappointing step. Opposition parties particularly PTI have been demanding for dissolution of assemblies and for holding early election since long, he added.
During last month interior minister Ahsan Iqbal had ruled out possibility of any early election in the country saying the assemblies would complete their constitutional tenure and stand dissolved on June, 05 2018.
