ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly regretted the US President’s decision to recognize occupied city of Al-Quds Al Sharif as the capital of Israel.
In his statement today (Thursday), he said the decision has sent a wave of anger amongst the Pakistani people and the Muslim Ummah.
Nawaz Sharif said it amounts to rubbing salt on the wounds of oppressed Palestinian people. He noted that this illegal step will further instigate anarchy.
