Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan has taken notice on the suicide attempt by an electricity consumer and directed the pertinent officer to take stern action against public complaints, saying that the employees who deliberately ignores the applications and complaints of public must be punished.
In a statement issued from Prime Minister Secretariat here on Sunday, Prime Minister said that the government departments are for public service and any kind of negligence in this regard is intolerable. “Employees are responsible to solve community grievances; if administration receives any complain of bribery than the suspect must be penalized strictly” PM AJK maintained.
Voicing his serious concern over the incident Prime Minister directed the pertinent department to take instant actions against the employees by whom consumers are disappointed and apprise Prime Minister Secretariat forthwith.
“Inquiry report regarding this incident should be completed immediately and copied to PM Secretariat” Prime Minister said adding that the incumbent government is endeavoring to ease public and we are committed to design favorable policies for masses to develop their confidence on state-owned departments.
