ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah has said Imran Khan has sided with Nawaz Sharif by not participating in the voting for election laws amendment bill.

“Imran Khan supported Nawaz Sharif by not taking part in the voting process for election laws amendment bill. If Imran becomes Prime Minister then the country will land in worse situation
”, he said this while talking to journalists in parliament house Wednesday.

He held Imran Khan should have come in assembly session. Neither Nawaz Sharif used to come in parliament nor Imran Khan came in the parliament, he added.

“My attendance in parliament remained 95 percent. Coming in parliament is my obligation. I respect it. It is matter of principle if some one is disqualified he can not become leader, he remarked.

He observed if some one has to learn democracy one should learn it from PPP.

To a question that if Imran Khan becomes prime minister then country will stand where he said that country will face worse situation than the prevailing one and country will stand ruined if Imran becomes premier.
