Islamabad : The influence of religion among the people is decreasing.
It was revealed by Gilani Research Foundation in a survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan which states that 1 in 4 Pakistanis opine that the influence of religion among the people is decreasing.
“A nationally representative sample of men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “In your opinion, is the influence of religion increasing or decreasing on people in Pakistan?”.
In response to this question, 23% respondents said that the influence of religion is increasing on people in Pakistan, 25% said that the influence of religion is decreasing, while 52% said that there has been no difference in the influence of religion.
