Mirpur: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that Mirpur will be the first city to avail Sui-gas facility soon saying that a meeting has already been finalised with Prime Minister Pakistan for the provision.
These assertions were made by Prime Minister during a meeting at Ex- Minister Ghazi Arshad’s residency here on Sunday. Ministers of State Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Member Assembly Ch. Rukhsar Ahmed, Ex MLAs and other party leaders and workers were present in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister said, “I have recently visited Europe, and there, I talked about Diaspora and urged them to visit Kashmir instead of visiting other countries in vacations; overseas Kashmiris are our strength and they should spend in their homeland as government is striving to ease them by the establishment of Investment board.”
Prime Minister reiterated that a meeting has already been finalized with Prime Minister Pakistan for the provision of Sui-gas in Azad Kashmir, “Mirpur will be the first city to avail sui-gas within the State soon”, the Prime Minister maintained.
“Government of AJK is trying to make 500 bed state of the art hospital in Mirpur”, Prime Minster added. The AJK PM visited the construction site where he was briefed by the concerned officials. Prime Minister also directed the concerned officers to speed up the work progress.
Prime Minister AJK was on official visit of Poonch and Mirpur division where he addressed different public gatherings likewise inaugurations of different development projects and to monitor the progress on ongoing projects. Moreover, Prime Minister also announced to make new constituencies in different regions of the State after legislation.
