Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) All arrangements were finalized by the concerned departments for conducting of medical entry test being held today (Sunday) in a transparent manner.
Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, Talat Mehmood Gondal said Saturday during a review meeting held here that over all 8335 students would participate in the entry tests. To facilitate students, examination centers at Siddique public school 6th road, Ideal Cambridge school, Jinnah Institute of Information and Commerce, Government Post Graduate College for women Satellite Town have been established.
Eyeing the security of the students, foolproof security measures have been taken so that entry test could be held in a peaceful environment, he said. He said section 144 would be imposed at entry test centers and only those students who would be having roll number slips could enter in the center. He said CNIC of every student would be checked and verification of some specific students would be done through NADRA.
DC Rawalpindi said that entry test material would be brought under the supervision of police force. He said the administration would de-seal the material and reseal the examination material in its supervision. He called upon the supervising staff to ensure 100 percent retrieval of examination copies. He said police officials would also fulfill their responsibilities to conduct the entry test in a transparent manner. He said ladies police officials would be deputed to check the female student while CCTV camera and Walk through gate would be installed.
Talat Mehmood said that mobile phone would not be allowed in the examination center. He asked the Iesco officials to ensure smooth power flow during test. He said first aid ambulance, fire-brigade and traffic police officers would be available at each examination center.
