Islamabad: Senior Judge of the Supreme Court (SC) Justice Ejaz Afzal has taken oath of acting Chief Justice of Pakistan.
According to media reports, Justice Azmat Saeed administered oath to Justice Ejaz Afzal while oath taking ceremony was held in the SC.
Respected judges of the apex court, senior lawyers, attorney general of Pakistan Ashtar Ausaf and others attended the ceremony.
It is vital to mention here that incumbent CJP Mian Saqib Nisar along with Justice Asif Saeed Khosa the second most senior judge of the Supreme Court are in Colombo to attend a conference .
