Lahore: PML (N) leader Talal Chaudhry has said that no review was taken in their review petitions by the apex court in panama case.
While giving response on Supreme Court judgment on panama review petitions at a private media channel on Friday Talal Chaudhry said that no review was taken on our review petitions in panama.
Our party had a case that we should awarded punishment after trial and we should be given right to appeal as terrorists has the right to appeal but former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif didn’t give that chance and he had been disqualified without it.
He went on to say that his party’s basic appeal was that many things in this case (panama) happened first time but no review is taken on free trail and right to appeal.
He noted, “Our party pointed out many shortcomings of this case after appearing before judiciary and now we are talking about grand dialogue because when a PM could not attain justice then how a common man could.â€
The PML-N leader further said that they wanted only people’s decision and will decide our next strategy on SC verdict after political discussion.
