BEIJING: China has once again extended mediation offer on Kashmir issue
China while extending offer to play a constructive role in restoration of Pakistan-India relations has warned the tense situation in Kashmir has diverted attention of international community, therefore, Beijing can not ignore it.
According to Indian media, spokesperson of China foreign ministry Geng Shung while talking to media men has said what situation is evolving in Kashmir is highly hazardous. This situation has directly arrested the attention of international community towards itself.
The spokesperson said tension between Pakistan and India is escalating on Line of Control (LoC) This is not only undermining peace in both the countries but also neighbouring countries are being affected by it, he added.
It is becoming much difficult for China to ignore this situation, he stated.
He advised Pakistan and India to launch efforts to sort out Kashmir issue at this critical juncture of time.
He underlined though India has been saying on every front the third party mediation is not acceptable on Kashmir issue but even then such situation has emerged that this issue should not be overlooked.
