MIRPUR (AJK): Ms. Momina Faryad d/o Faryad Hussain, student of the private sector Read Foundation College Mirpur (AJK), who secured first position in Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-II (Composite) Examination (Annual-2017) in Azad Jammu Kashmir Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur by securing 1052 out of total of 1100 marks, was Wednesday awarded the cash prize of one lakh in acknowledgement of her exceptional outstanding performance in examinations.

Momina, (Roll No. 501362), a resident of Mirpur, belonging to pre-medical group, was honored with the prize by the management of the Read Foundation Schools and Colleges AJK, at a special ceremony hosted in her honor by the Read Foundation in local Hotel Mirpur Regency here on Wednesday.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Read Foundtion Shahid Rafique gave away the prize to the most talented and intelligent student Ms. Momina Faryad of his Mirpur Campus of the Read Foundation College. He congratulated Momina for securing top position in Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-II (Composite) Examination (Annual-2017), held under the auspices of AJK Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur – the result of which was announced by the AJK BISE here the other day.

Shahid Rafique also felicitated the teaching staff of the college besides the parents of Momina for her landslide success in the examination because of her exceptional high intellect and pen under the guidance and coaching of the teaching staff besides the prayers of the parents and more above – the great blessings of Allah – the Almighty.

The CEO of Read Foundation also announced the air tickets for performing Umrah for three lucky staff members of the educational institutions of the Read Foundation including the Principal of the Read Foundation College Mirpur Tariq Kiyani whose campus clinched the top position in the intermediate examination through its most talented students Momina Faryad.

Speaking on this occasion the CEO Shahid Rafique and Principal Tariq Kiyani highlighted the curricular and co curricular activities of the educational institutions of the Read Foundation in Azad Jammu & Kashmir through their 374 branches from primary to the intermediate level education across Azad Jammu & Kashmir for the delivery of the quality education harmonious to the need of the modern age.
