Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Project has been launched to construct five new Girls and Boys Colleges in Rawalpindi Division to address the admission problem on permanent basis in Rawalpindi.

Under the project, five new Girls and Boys colleges would be constructed, while four new classrooms would be constructed in older colleges to fulfill deficiency of classroom. The government would be spending around Rs371.6 million on the project, while the funds have already been allocated in provincial budget.

According to sources, funds would be released in September. Around Rs60 million would be spent on the construction of new Block in Government Post Graduate Girls College Satellite Town, around Rs408.7 million on the construction of New Degree College in Chak Bili Khan, while Rs306.6 million would be spent on the construction of Girls College in Mandara area of Rawalpindi.

Around Rs50 million would be spent on the construction of Girls College in Dhamiyal RWP, while Rs403. 7 million wound be spent on the construction of Girls Degree College in Gujar Khan. Rs303.2 million would be spent on construction of Degree College in Chakwal, while Rs403. Million would be spend Girls Degree College in Jhelum, while Rs308 million would be spent for the construction of College in Hassanabdal.
