ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) President Mamnoon Hussain has said the pace of economic development in the country will increase after elimination of terrorism.

Talking to outgoing UAE Ambassador Essa Abdulla Al Basha Al Noaimi in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Pakistan has been the biggest target of terrorism in the region.

Meanwhile, President of Aga Khan Council for Pakistan Hafiz Sherali called on the President in Islamabad today and handed him over a letter from Prince Karim Aga Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, the President said multiple projects being implemented by Aga Khan Development Network are making a visible difference in the lives of people.

He appreciated the role of Aga Khan Development Network, Aga Khan Foundation and Aga Khan Health Services in promoting social sector development, especially in northern areas of Pakistan.
