QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has stressed the need to further strengthen unity among all ranks of the nation to completely efface the menace of terrorism.

Talking to news persons in Quetta on Sunday, he said significant achievements have been made in war against terrorism and remnants of terrorists are on the run.

The Minister urged the need for showing complete solidarity and unity to fight the war against terrorism and called upon the opposition parties to join hands to defeat the enemies of the Pakistan.

He also assured full cooperation of the federal government to tackle this menace.

Condemning the terrorist attack in Quetta, he said the country is successfully stepping ahead with strong agenda to defeat the menace of terrorism.

The Minister said that aim of such cowardly attacks is to increase the psychological pressure on the nation. However, the enemy is not aware that these attacks further increase the courage and determination of people.

He said eradication of terrorism from the country is prerequisite for prosperity and development of the country.

The Minister said the incident has also reminded that there is a dire need of internal unity to win this war.

He said the elements which are trying to weaken internal unity are the enemy of the motherland.

Earlier, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal along with Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri visited the CMH Quetta and inquired after the health of injured people of Quetta blast.
