ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has condemned and deplored the continuing reign of state terrorism against the innocent civilians by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.
In a statement in Islamabad on Friday, the Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said that Indian forces have killed more Kashmiris and injured many others demanding their inalienable right to self-determination, during the last few days.
He said the Indian forces, in the latest acts of barbarism, again used live ammunition and pellet guns and attacked a hospital in Pulwama and a Women College in Srinagar.
The spokesperson said despite Indian state terrorism and repression the steadfast resolve displayed by the Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir demonstrates that they remain undeterred in their goal for the right to self determination.
He said the deteriorating human rights situation in Kashmir has serious implications for the regional peace and security.
The spokesperson said that Pakistan remains committed to peacefully resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the resolutions of UN Security Council.
He called upon the international community to take notice of the grave human rights crisis in Kashmir and urge India to end state sponsored terrorism.
