MUZAFFARABAD: Chief Justice Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Chauhdary Muhammad Ibrahim Zia has said that civil servants must perform their duties with out most honesty and dedication.

The AJK Chief Justice made these assertions while addressing to newly inducted Assistant Commissioners of DMG here on Thursday. Chief Justice urged assistant commissioners (ACs) to perform their duties with hard work, integrity and professional competencies. “Government employees are our assets, positivity should be promoted rather than negativity”, he said adding that all employees should work for supremacy of law and justice to facilitate the common masses.

He said that all newly appointed officers should make philanthropy as their slogan and serve humanity to maintain faith of public towards government and institutions.
Chaudhary Ibrahim Zia said, “Everyone should perform their duties without any discrimination of region, race and religion”. He observed that administration works as a bridge between government and general public. “They are the representatives of government; and they must perform their duties without any political influence”, he added.

He maintained that “law is equal to all, and its implication in society is core responsibility of administration”. He was of the view that weak system makes a feeble state.
Registrar Supreme Court Chaudhary Muhammad Riaz, Principal Revenue Academy Chaudhary Muhammad Ayub and secretary to Chief Justice Khawaja Shaukat were also present in the meeting.
