Middlesbrough /Nelson: The former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and President PTI Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chudhary has reiterated his resolve to highlight the plight of Kashmiris people besides exposing Indian atrocities at all available forums at international level.
Addressing different function organized at Esta-Kistan and Middlesbrough in UK the PTI president said that the basic objective of his multi-nation tour was to sensitize international community about the early resolution of Kashmir dispute, which he said, was the major cause of tension in the South Asian region. Barrister Chudhary said that he had organized anti-India protest in Hamburg on the occasion G20 Summit, which was attended by thousands of Kashmiris. About his future plans, Barrister said that during his visit abroad he would brief different forums about the prevailing political and human rights situation in Indian held Kashmir to sensitize them about the early settlement of Kashmir.
Referring to the present political situation in Pakistan the PTI chief said that following the JIT findings Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was humiliating him-self and damaging the country’s democratic system by clinging to power. He said that the situation in Pakistan would have direct bearing on AJK’s political atmosphere as a result he said that elections would be held afresh in the region. Chudhary said that given the situation he had decided to reorganize the party and have visited different cities in UK in this regard.
Meanwhile, Barrister Sultan called on Lord Mayor of Nelson at his office wherein he was accorded warm welcome by the leader of the House, Counselors and others. Barrister on the occasion briefed the Lord Mayor about the problems faced by the Kashmiri expatriate community settled in Nelson. He also apprised him of the deteriorating human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmir. The Nelson Lord Mayor assured the visiting Kashmiri leader that he had lot of information about Kashmir and would continue to raise the voice of Kashmiri people at all available forums.
