LONDON : Indian tennis star Sania Mirza was knocked out in the third round of Wimbledon by her former partner Martina Hingis in ladies’ doubles match.
Sania Mirzra and Kirsten Flipkens (Belgium) lost 2-6, 4-6 to Hingis (Switzerland) and Yung-Jan Chan (Taiwan) in the pre-quarterfinals.
It is worth mentioning here that Sania-Hingis duo had won Wimbledon women’s doubles title in 2015 before parting ways last year. The pair shared three Grand Slams and 14 titles together.
