QUETTA: (Parliament Times) In Balochistan, provincial government is making serious efforts to improve living standard of fishermen and their working conditions.
According to official sources, an amount of 885 million rupees has been allocated for the fisheries sector in the current fiscal year.
Moreover, interest free loans worth one billion rupees will be disbursed among fishermen.
Another project for operationalization of a fish processing unit in Pasni will be started soon and it will cost 500 million rupees.
