LAHORE: The Airport Security Force (ASF) on Monday foiled an attempt to smuggle contraband at the Lahore airport.
Six kilogrammes of heroin and ice was seized from a couple caught trying to smuggle the illegal drugs, the ASF said.
“The drugs were recovered during a search prior to Muhammad Anwar and his wife boarded a foreign airline to travel to Jeddah to perform Umrah,†ASF personnel said.
The couple was taken into custody by security forces.
